ABOUT

GLOVES TOP image 1

Founded in Paris in 2020, Carbone 14 uses only existing materials to give them new life, by using end-of-rolls from luxury fashion houses and repurposing vintage luxury clothing.

Upcycling avoids the production of new raw materials and significantly reduces waste to be recycled.

By producing in small batches, I focus on a few products to give myself every chance of making them well.

Each product must be timeless, signed with a unique detail, have impeccable finishes and a drape that will stand the test of time.

This helps to offset the impact of garment manufacturing over the years.

Upcycling fabrics gives new value to end-of-rolls that were not compliant.

Upcycling defective vintage clothing involves recovering the intact parts of the garment, adapting them to the pattern once unstitched. This process is longer, and therefore more expensive, and it is also a guarantee of quality, since if a garment has lasted 20 years, it will easily last 20 more.

By recovering the intact part of a vintage garment, we limit what needs to be recycled, thus reducing waste produced by the textile industry and saving on raw material production.

Beauty never dies

In response to overproduction in the textile industry, I created Carbone 14, a brand through which I upcycle well-made clothing to give it a second life.
